All Star Football

Plan, prepare and conduct an All Star Football game each June which is played by the Seniors from Ventura County high schools.

Bingo

Plan, prepare, conduct and tear down Bingo game fund raiser held during Ventura County Fair in August.

Budget & Finance

Prepare annual budget, arrange annual audit of club records and monitor club’s finances throughout the year.

Community Service

Conduct a community service activity and dispense budgeted funds allocated for community service. Distribute food baskets at Thanksgiving.

Plan and carry out fund raisers-2 street fairs (Christmas & 4th of July), All Star Football, and other opportunities.

Monitor and propose changes to governing documents when necessary. Report to the Board in May.

Plan and conduct this annual fund raiser.

Nominations & Elections

Responsible for preparing slate of nominees of club officers and for counting of ballots for election of Board of Directors. (Committee composition is set out in the Constitution)

Prayer/Inspiration

Delivery of invocation at meetings, prepare and deliver get well cards, and visitation to ill members.

Student Speakers Contest

Arrange and conduct Student Speakers contest each February and see that our club winner gets to the higher level contests.

Tail Twister

Help Tail Twister with the collection of fines.

Visitations

Arranges for club visitations to other clubs and sees that we have a valid entry in the District Visitation Contest.

Yearbook

Put together the President’s Yearbook and enter it in the District Yearbook contest.

Youth Activities/Youth Outreach Committee

1. Allocates and distributes budgeted funds to various youth organizations;
2. Oversees and promotes the Youth Exchange Program;
3. Oversees and helps with our Leo clubs;
4. Arranges club participation in the District's Flag Day program (distribution of American flags to grade schools);
5. Oversees/handles our club's participation in the annual Lions International Peace Poster contest.
